HELLO, EMERALD. A few days ago, Pantone LLC announced the new color of the year for 2013 and it's Emerald! No wonder. It has been dominating red carpets for seasons and has dominated SS13 runways, livening up the palette for spring and summer. It really thrills me that my birthstone's elegance will be taking over this new year (yes, I was born on May). And besides, I've been obsessing over greens and blues these past few months. On the other hand, we have to say bye-bye to 2012's tangerine tango - another interesting eye popping color that's been holding the 'It' status for awhile. I however don't find this a painful goodbye since I'm still going to wear more tangerine, oranges, and brights anyway.
When I got the chance to wear tangerine tango before 2012 completely kissed us goodbye, I totally grabbed it. Thanks to Milanoo for sending me this gorgeous blazer!
Diggin' the blazer? Get it from:
I was wearing this blazer from Milanoo. It's bright orange although it looks more like red-orange in the photos. I got it in size small and it fits my petite frame greatly. I completely like its slim cut and I love that it doesn't have a collar which makes it easier to dress down. You know everyone needs an outerwear like this especially in this kind of season when it's hard to decipher what the temperature outside will be; surely, it's also hard to decide whether to wear short-sleeves or a long-sleeved top or something in between.
The color is beautifully striking. Its vividness can perfectly add a pop of color to an otherwise dull outfit and great for color-blocking as well. The blazer has a polka-dotted interior which adds a really cute, preppy vibe when the sleeves are rolled up. When I don't feel like donning polka-dots I'll just have to roll my sleeves down and they're gone.

I extremely adore these shoes that I feel the need to write something about it. I will, I promise.
The blazer looks casual when it's open and more formal when closed. It also cinches my waist if you can notice. My outfit would be lifeless without it.
And now about Milanoo.
I've been reading negative comments about it and online shoppers are doubtful of its security and legitimacy. I would like to confirm that Milanoo.com is a legitimate shopping website and NOT a scam. In fact, this is the second time that I received an order from Milanoo. The first one was the black sequin dress which I also reviewed months ago.
I ordered the blazer and it was shipped within 24 hours. Although sometimes the processing time could take a little more than a whole day. My parcel arrived in one week via DHL right on my doorstep. It came all the way from China to my location, which is here in Middle East Asia. It was a quick delivery so I guess the high delivery price ($25) was all worth it. My order came in a good packaging - a custom Milanoo box, a thank you letter, and a free Milanoo.com magnetic pin.

And as for the product's quality, I could say that I'm quite satisfied with the blazer. I liked the fit, the design, and the value as well. The cloth it's made of is of good quality. I've already washed and iron pressed it and it still remained the same - the color did not fade, the cloth did not shrink or loose.
Overall, I had a pleasurable shopping experience with Milanoo. I encourage everyone to try Milanoo, too. I suggest buying small stuff through it if you're still in doubt. But it's really less likely that you'll get scammed because I've tried twice now and I'm really satisfied.
